Sincerely,Him
Is there a story behind your stage name?
Ehh kinda. I came up with the name “Him” first because I was actually planning to start a clothing line but things just didn’t go to plan the way I wanted. “Sincerely” came about bc I wanted my music to be as if I’m telling stories or writing a letter to my fans. The name just fits perfectly
Where do you find inspiration?
My inspiration came from something tragic that happened to a friend of mine. Since then I’ve been more willing to share my feelings and really dive into what is going on upstairs in my head
What was the role of music in the early years of your life?
Music has always been apart of my life. My parents had very similar taste but also different taste. My mom was always playing R&b, my pops was playing rap/r&b and occasionally some rock. And my aunt who listened to just about everything would show me artist from Kid Rock to Slipknot. My musical taste is crazy

I would describe my music as dark, painful, energetic and sometimes playful. It all depends on the beat and how I approach it
Describe your creative process.
My creative process is very boring. I normally just scour YouTube for particular beats and then when I find one I like, I open up Bandlab and start the process of creating. I don’t write anything down until I know it sounds good during recording
If it wasn’t a music career, what would you be doing?
If it wasn’t a music career I’d probably still be playing football (soccer). I played professionally in Lithuania and Poland for 7 years, while also have trials in the UK, Germany and Albania when I was younger

Plans for the coming months? I plan to drop my punk/alternative project end of February, early March if everything goes as planned. Wasting My Time drops 2/9 along with a music video which I’m excited to debut.
