Enjoy ‘Lavender Sky’ A Bitter-Sweet Experience By Sky Olson

”Lavender Sky” is the latest from Utah-based pop artist “Sky Olson”. Sky Olson makes pop music pleasing and addictive, he has proven to be one of the fastest-rising artists and at this pace, it is just a matter of time before he becomes one of the biggest artists in the pop world.

Sky Olson” is known for his great songwriting skills, he is a multiple award winner of ‘The John Lennon Songwriting Contest’, and ”Lavender Sky” doesn’t fall short of his standard.

The theme of the song is clearly scattered throughout the 4 minutes and 8 seconds, although tragic, Sky Olson” has the ability to change a melancholic situation to a happy one, a feat most musicians are not able to accomplish.

Lavender Sky, is an 80s-inspired indie pop song featuring addictive saxophone hooks and nostalgic guitar solos. The song is about surrendering to the end of a dying relationship.

On the new single, Sky says, “After a hurricane or a typhoon hits, the skies will often turn into a shade of purple so striking and beautiful that you almost forget the death and destruction that preceded it. Despite the horror and chaos of the storm, there is still beauty to be found in the aftermath.”

He added “ A certain amount of surrendering has to take place before that beauty can be appreciated. Stories end, people fade, and in the blink of an eye, everything changes. But it’s the calm after the storm, the hope of rebuilding something new, that is worth looking for. Lavender Sky is a celebration of tragic endings.”
