We all tend to have that one ex we miss and still think about one way or the other and Slovenian singer and songwriter, Ben Dolic tells the same story in this new song.
“Kissing Her, Missing You” is an uplifting pop song about courting an excellent person but feeling bad about missing your ex-partner.
The vocals delivered on this song is exceptional and he never ceases to amaze his listeners each and every time.
‘Kissing Her, Missing You’ was produced and co-written by Gethin Llwyd Williams, who has previously worked with Vance Joy, Clide, Picture This, and Bow Anderson. Jordan was in charge of mixing and mastering the track.
Ben says “‘Kissing Her, Missing You’ is about a phase in my life where I’d just moved to another country to pursue music and had to break up with my first girlfriend, as we couldn’t handle the long distance.
I started dating around and using dating apps but all of the attempts left me feeling empty, as I just wanted one specific person, no matter how beautiful, smart or funny anyone else was. It’s about attempting to get under someone to get over someone else and completely failing”.
Ben opens up about mental health, supporting self-expression, and assisting others in discovering beauty in adversity through his music.
